Yakovlev, a subsidiary of the United Aircraft Corporation under the Rostec State Corporation, has inaugurated a novel hangar facility designed for streamlined aircraft maintenance procedures in Makhachkala Airport.

The station will accommodate a wide range of maintenance tasks crucial for upholding the airworthiness of various aircraft types, notably the SSJ-100 regional jet and the forthcoming MC-21 airliner.

According to Denis Belov, Head of Yakovlev's Aviation and Technical Complex, the establishment of this new maintenance facility will enhance flight safety standards while simultaneously elevating the quality of services rendered to airlines servicing Makhachkala Airport.
