Yuzhno-Sukhokum Electromechanical Plant in northern Dagestan has launched the "Organization of serial production of wind turbines with the output of 107.5 kW" project. The investment volume amounts to almost RUB 100 million. 20 new jobs created in the area.

Of the total cost, RUB 35 million have been allocated to the investor in the form of a loan from the Industrial Development Fund. Currently, six wind turbines have been installed and commissioned at the enterprise as part of the first stage. They produce an average of 23-28 thousand kilowatts of electricity per month.
