The book «My Dagestan» by Rasul Gamzatov will be translated into the Nepali language, Salihat Gamzatova, poet’s daughter says citing the statement made by Janga Bahadur Chauhan, the Ambassador of Nepal to Russia.

The bust of Rasul Gamzatov has recently been unveiled in Nagarkot, a resort town in Nepal. Every year, on the poet's birth anniversary, admirers of his poetry gather to recite his poems.

In the reception hall of the Nepalese embassy in Moscow, there is an exhibition featuring portraits of five prominent figures from Russian and Nepalese cultural spheres who have significantly contributed to fostering friendly relations between the two nations. Photo of Rasul Gamzatov can be seen among the portraits exhibited.
