Supported by Nizhny Novgorod regional government within the framework of the nationwide Creative Industries Forum, the 2025 edition of the award attracted participants from across Russia, encompassing artisans, designers, businesses and event organizers.

Following a combination of public voting and expert evaluation, Dagestan emerged victorious in three categories:

- "Best Master of Folk-Art Crafts": Zakarya Kanaev, a renowned jeweler from Kubachi village, was recognized for his exceptional skills in cloisonne enamel, bone carving, and engraving honed over 37 years. His dedication to preserving and advancing traditional Dagestani jewelry making has earned him acclaim within both the professional sphere and amongst the republic's populace.

- The handcrafted ceramic whistle "Fabulous Lamb" produced in the village of Balkhar using traditional methods, was voted the best children's product incorporating folk art elements. This award-winning whistle serves as a potent emblem of cultural heritage and intergenerational connection.

- "Best Festival": Kubachi Festival, commemorating the centenary of the Kubachi Art Combine, was awarded by the expert jury. This extensive event united artisans, artists, researchers, and attendees from throughout Russia, celebrating traditions, creativity and cultural diversity.

The awarding ceremony for the National Award winners will be held on June 27th in Nizhny Novgorod.
