The Alibek Takho-Godi National Museum of Dagestan, the largest in the Northern Caucasus, celebrates its centenary this year. In commemoration of this milestone, festivities were organized in Buynaksk, the location where the first museum in the republic was established. The flag of the museum was raised, a parade of costumes was held and new exhibits were showcased. Today, the museum boasts 38 branches located in 32 different settlements across the republic.
