Honoured Artist Maxim Rubtsov to perform in Makhachkala

Kumyk State Drama and Music Theatre will host a performance by Maxim Rubtsov, an Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation, who will be accompanied by the Khrzhanovsky Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Zarifa Abdullaeva, an Honoured Artist of Russia.

The evening's program includes works by Antonio Vivaldi, including his Concerto for Flute and Orchestra in A minor, Samuel Barber's Adagio and John Rutter's Suite for Flute and Orchestra.

Maxim Rubtsov is a renowned Russian flautist known for his distinctive performance style and precise, expressive technique. He serves as soloist and concertmaster in the flute section of the Russian National Orchestra, under the leadership of Mikhail Pletnev. Rubtsov gained international acclaim, establishing himself as one of Russia's finest flutists. Since 2018, he has been recognized as a Yamaha Artist.

This concert is part of the program of the XVIII International Music Festival, Port-Petrovsky Assemblies, which promises to be a significant cultural event.
