The round table "Challenges for modern Dagestani youth" was held in Makhachkala. The event brought together the representatives of the regional Muftiate of Dagestan, the Ministry for National Polici and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan, the public and the media. During the event modern challenges and threats facing the youth of the region were discussed.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of organizing New Year holidays, taking into account the arrival of children from Palestine who survived the bombings. Theologian of the Republic of Dagestan Idris Asadulaev expressed a request to Dagestanis to refuse noisy celebrations as a sign of solidarity with the guests, who now especially need peace and quiet.
