The Government Commission on Information Security of the Republic of Dagestan, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Rizvan Gazimagomedov, met to assess progress in digital security and import substitution. A central achievement is the procurement of over 2,000 licenses for a domestic Russian office software suite across public institutions.

Deputy Prime Minister Gazimagomedov emphasized that digital services must meet the strict cybersecurity standards required by national goals, especially in a data-driven economy. The scale of the threat was highlighted by the detection of approximately 839 significant DDoS attacks against the republic's government resources in 2025 alone.

The commission also verified the successful security certification of two critical State Information Systems: the "Situation Center of the Republic of Dagestan" (Ministry of Digital Development) and the "Electronic Education of Dagestan" (Ministry of Education and Science).
