The National Assembly of Dagestan has enacted legislation relieving local businesses from the mandatory labeling requirement for light industry products. This decision, according to the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investment of the Republic of Dagestan, is intended to bolster traditional artisanal practices, lessen the administrative burden on smaller enterprises, and enhance the market competitiveness of goods produced in Dagestan.
The implementation of this law is expected to streamline the process of bringing goods to market, reduce expenses incurred by artisans, and foster the preservation of cultural heritage. Furthermore, it aligns with the objectives of the federal project "Small and medium-sized enterprises". The development of this legislation took into consideration similar regional practices, including laws in Moscow Region, Khabarovsk Territory and other Russian regions, while adhering to federal legislative requirements.
