The Republic of Dagestan has significantly improved its veterinary service by acquiring two modern mobile laboratories on the basis of KamAZ vehicles. These laboratories are unique in the North Caucasian region and will greatly enhance the quality of diagnosis.

These mobile laboratories will allow for on-site testing, accelerating the diagnosis of animal diseases and increasing the effectiveness of preventative measures. The republican authorities have modernized local laboratories by installing new diagnostic equipment worth approximately 15 million rubles and purchasing crematoria and incinerators to enhance the work of veterinary services.

Due to the increase in farm animal numbers, the workload on veterinarians has increased to 1,026 standard heads per specialist, compared to the previous standard of 800 units.

Through preventative measures, the republic has remained free from many dangerous diseases, contributing to the improvement of investment attractiveness in livestock farming in the region.
