The Head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov met with the newly appointed Minister of Energy of Russia Sergei Tsivilev.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Grabchak and the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Dagestan Manvel Mazhonets. The parties discussed various issues including related to the repair of power grids, preparations for the upcoming summer peak load period and the fall-winter season. Furthermore, the discussion participants also focused on addressing the causes of previous accidents.

The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation expressed interest in improving the efficiency of the regional power system. S. Melikov proposed Minister Tsivilev to take a working trip to Dagestan to investigate all the pressing issues in depth.
