Investments in the economy of Dagestan increased by 8.3% in 2024, Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation said during his working trip to the republic.

The top official noted that Dagestan made a significant progress in various sectors, particularly in agriculture, industry and tourism. Reshetnikov noted that investment growth has continued for the third consecutive year, indicating a positive trend in the region's economic development.

Reshetnikov attributes these achievements to support provided by decisions of the President, the Government, and the joint efforts of federal and regional authorities. A key aspect, in his point of view, was the implementation of innovative projects, the provision of investment support through state programs for the development of the North Caucasian Federal District and national target projects.
