Zaidin Dzhambulatov, Rector of Dagestan State Agrarian University named after M.M. Jambulatov and member of delegation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, took part in the work of the Russian-Azerbaijani Commission on Cooperation.

The commission convened after the meeting between the Ministries of Agriculture of Russia and Azerbaijan. During the meeting, Zaidin Dzhambulatov presented proposals to the Azerbaijani side regarding the training of agricultural personnel in Dagestan and at other Russian universities. In particular, the organization of an electronic admissions commission at Dagestan State Agrarian University based at Azerbaijan Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine was discussed.

The need to establish an exchange of trainees and joint internships for students from Dagestan State Agrarian University and Azerbaijan State Agrarian University at the agricultural machinery enterprises of the Rostselmash group of companies was also mentioned.

The rector of DSAU proposed a series of initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration between research institutions specializing in genetics, plant breeding, seed production, horticultural practices, animal husbandry, veterinary science, and the development of veterinary pharmaceuticals.  Besides, Dzhambulatov spoke for integrating the Azerbaijan Farmers Association with the Association of Agricultural Producers 'People's Farmer of Dagestan', in order to implement a wide range of joint projects.

Furthermore, Dzhambulatov drew attention of both parties to existing problems, such as the transportation of farm animals and water usage.
