One of the projects discussed is the construction of Novolakskaya wind farm by Rosatom, which will become the largest wind power plant in Russia upon completion. The project's investment exceeds RUB 50 billion.
The project is expected to bring significant economic benefits to the region. It will create 70 permanent and 300 temporary jobs during the construction phase. Approx. RUB 150 million in annual tax revenues will be directed to the republican budget.
The construction of the wind farm is proceeding apace. To date, 24 wind turbines have been erected, and the foundations for a further 37 have been laid. The initial phase of construction is scheduled for completion this year, resulting in the operational deployment of 61 wind turbines.
