Nadezhda Rehabilitation Centre has been providing restorative healthcare services to children from Donetsk People's Republic since 2025. This program delivers intensive three-week interventions that combine medical, psychological, and pedagogical support to approximately 50 individuals, with a focus on 27 children.

Specialized speech therapy programs were used to address speech impairments. Physiotherapy techniques, such as electrotherapy, magnetotherapy, and hydrokinetics, helped to improve motor function. These therapies also helped to restore muscle strength and coordination through therapeutic exercises.

Psychological support through art and play therapy contributed to improved emotional well-being and communication skills. At the same time, children engaged in creative activities such as art, music, and theatre classes, while labour workshops equipped them with self-care abilities and provided insights into potential career paths. Parents were actively involved in the process, receiving guidance and consultation from experts.

The programme has proven to be remarkably successful. A new group of young people is expected to join in the coming days.
