Dagestan Educators Among Russia's Best Mentors

Four educators from the Republic of Dagestan—Zamira Azizova, Maryam Gagayeva, Lydia Kazimova and Veranika Mirzoyeva—have been named winners in the prestigious "Mentoring" track of the "Flagships of Education" project, organized by the presidential platform "Russia — Land of Opportunity."

Selected from over 24,000 applications, they were recognized for their effective mentoring methodologies and significant contributions to education.

•    Maryam Gagayeva (29 years experience), a distinguished history and social studies teacher, holds the title of Distinguished Educator of the Russian Federation.
•    Lydia Kazimova (27 years experience), an honored education worker, is noted for guiding young teachers through professional challenges.
•    Veranika Mirzoyeva (19 years experience) focuses on patriotic education and has successfully mentored colleagues to achieve success in professional competitions.
•    Zamira Azizova (19 years experience) is a teacher of Russian language and literature.

The winners excelled in practical tasks, including solving pedagogical cases and developing initiatives for implementation in educational institutions. They will receive certificates and opportunities to present their expertise at regional, federal, and international forums.

The "Mentoring" track, part of the national "Education" project, pairs educators to foster collaboration and mutual professional growth.
