Dagestan emerges as most affordable region for holiday rentals

According to a recent study conducted by Avito Travel, Russian citizens exhibited a 2.4-fold increase in their preference for renting countryside residences during the summer months of this year.
Karelia emerged as the most sought-after destination within the daily rental market, constituting 17% of all reservations. The Krasnodar Territory followed closely behind with a 15% share, while Crimea secured the third position with 9%. Dagestan and the Altai Republic also featured prominently among the top five destinations.
In terms of affordability, Crimea boasted the most competitive rental rates at RUB 7,000 per day, followed by Stavropol Krai and Dagestan. Conversely, the Moscow region commanded the highest rental prices, averaging RUB 15,600 per day. Similarly, elevated rental costs were observed in the Kaliningrad and Vladimir regions.
Among the 15 most popular regions, Moscow region showcases the highest average daily rental price (RUB 15,600), followed by Kaliningrad region (RUB 13,100) and Vladimir region (RUB 12,600). Tatarstan and Leningrad region rounded out the top 5 most expensive regions with average daily rental prices of RUB 11,500 and RUB 10,900 respectively.
