The “Ecosystem Protected areas” All-Russian Forum ("Zapovedny Krai") recently took place in Kamchatka Territory, convening leading experts in conservation, sustainable development and related fields. The forum focused on developing eco-tourism within protected areas, emphasizing the crucial need for a harmonious approach that fosters both environmental preservation and responsible exploration of natural landscapes.

Rasul Kasumov, Head of Derbent department of the Russian Railways, participated in the event alongside other notable activists. Notably, his attendance was facilitated by Russian Railways, which is commemorating its centennial anniversary this year and actively champions social and environmental endeavors.  

The forum prioritized the establishment of eco-friendly travel routes designed to minimize any detrimental impact on delicate ecosystems.
