Dagestan State Technical University (DSTU) has been awarded a grant at the Rosmolodezh competition, securing funding totaling RUB 12 million. DSTU emerged as the sole victor from the republic amongst the 293 participating educational institutions, with 89 ultimately receiving grants.
DSTU's success stems from its ambitious project titled "Multifaceted Caucasus: Ethnicity, Sports, Projects, Heroism". This project aims to cultivate a supportive environment for comprehensive youth development in the North Caucasus region by harmoniously integrating sports, education, patriotism, and cultural elements.
The project encompasses six distinct programs: the North Caucasian Youth Forum "League of Sports," ETHNOVA Festival showcasing the ethnic cultures of the North Caucasus, "Project" School of Social Design for secondary school students, "Voices of SVO: Stories of Participants" educational youth forum, Student Youth Festival "Everyone Plays in KVN!", and the Patriotic Youth Forum "Following in the Footsteps of Our Ancestors."
Ultimately, the project seeks to nurture a generation of active, well-educated, and patriotic young individuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to societal advancement and the preservation of cultural heritage. It also addresses the crucial need for fostering stronger inter-regional connections within the North Caucasus Federal District and promoting mentoring programs that unite students from higher education institutions and secondary vocational schools across the region. With an anticipated participation of 4,600 individuals, DSTU's project promises to have a significant positive impact on the youth of the North Caucasus.
