Analysis of 2025 Unified State Exam (USE) results reveals a growing trend among Dagestani schoolchildren towards natural sciences.  This year, eighteen schoolchildren in the region achieved 100 scores in their chemistry examinations.

Alfiya Iskakova, Head of the Children's Scientific Center at Altair Talent Development Center and a Doctor of Chemical Sciences, observes a growing interest in natural sciences among teens. This is evidenced by the increased number of examinees for chemistry (85,000), biology (over 114,000) and physics examinations, demonstrating a clear upward trend in these subjects.

Iskakova attributes this development to effective career guidance programs. These initiatives involve interactions with university faculty, participation in conferences and visits to industrial sites, all contributing to nurturing students' interest in scientific fields. She strongly emphasizes the importance of sustained investment in natural science education, arguing that it is crucial for ensuring a bright future for Dagestani youth and their contributions to national advancements in science and technology.
