Dagestan's first digital Multifunctional Center has opened in Makhachkala. Its visitors can learn and then independently use the GosUslugi portal.

"In Dagestan for sure, and most likely in the Northern Caucasus, this is the first such digital MFC. Here visitors can independently receive services via GosUslugi portal. For example, if a person does not have a computer at home. He can come here, go to their personal account, scan or certify some documents," the MFC officer says.

According to Magomedemin Arslanaliyev, director of the regional MFC, this platform is "a center of operative training of digital literacy for the population". Three windows have been opened at the site. With the help of consultants, applicants can obtain 20 basic types of public services through the unified portal, apply for social benefits and receive training for further independent receipt of services.

According to the regional government, for 11 months of 2023 Dagestan MFC provided about 2.5 million public services. The services for issuance of passports and driver's licenses are most popular among the visitors.
