Makhachkala Prosthetics and Orthotics Enterprise has reopened in Dagestan. People have been waiting for it to open for about a year. Many disabled had to apply in other regions.

The enterprise provides patients with prostheses, medical assistance and orthopedic footwear. Lately, as the disabled say, there were long-term interruptions in the work of the enterprise. In January 2024, a new manager took office and launched the process of reorganization.

After official re-opening, the regional public figures and politicians promise to render support to the development of enterprise. Amongst other things, they will contribute to gentrifying the rea adjacent to the medical Centre.
