Experts have conducted a study to determine the monthly expenditures of residents in Dagestan on essential consumer goods and services. The list includes food, entertainment (visits to cafes, cinemas, fitness centers), communication services (including internet), transportation expenses (fuel for cars) and other necessary expenses.

Based on the survey data, the average monthly expenditure of Dagestan residents amounts to RUB 32,600 (approx. USD 380). Compared to 2023, there has been an increase of 1.9% in spending. However, experts suggest that the actual rise in costs in the region is significantly higher.

Among the regions with the highest monthly expenditures, Moscow stands out with an average of RUB 77,000, followed by St. Petersburg with nearly RUB 61,000 and Krasnodar region with almost RUB 60,000.
