A new public space has been opened today in Shamkhal-Termen settlement of Kirovsky district of Makhachkala. The chairman of city Council of deputies Maris Ilyasov, the head of Kirovsky municipal district Salikh Sagidov and the mayor of Makhachkala Yusup Umavov came to congratulate the dwellers.

The head of the city congratulated the residents on the opening of the new recreation center and expressed confidence that the municipal authorities would continue work on gentrifying the suburban territories.  

The construction of the new recreation place was carried out within the framework of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment". The city dwellers had chosen the location by rating voting.

The new public space is laid out on the territory of the local art school. The benches, trash cans, street lighting, a modern gazebo for recreation, a playground and swings have been installed here. As to the Mayor's Office within the framework of federal and municipal programs 9 public and 13 courtyard territories have been gentrified in Makhachkala in 2023.
