Parents from Dagestan become laureates of "Special Happiness" award

Two mothers from the republic of Dagestan have been honored with the prestigious "Special Happiness" award at a ceremony held in Astrakhan. Bariyat Khabibova from Kaspiysk was recognized for her unwavering dedication to caring for her three children, two of whom face challenges due to rare genetic abnormalities. Apart from the award, Khabibova received a certificate granting her access to studies at the Institute of Correctional Pedagogy in Moscow.
Ayida Karakhanova from Makhachkala was awarded for her exemplary "Parental Initiative." As the mother of a deceased military member and the caregiver of her daughter with cerebral palsy, Karakhanova demonstrated remarkable resilience and actively supported other families facing similar hardships.
The laureates were joined at the ceremony by Zarema Makhmudova, advisor to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan, and previous award recipients Aminat Shamsudinova and Ella Hasanova, who provided encouragement and support.
