Dagenergo JSC, a branch of Rosseti North Caucasus, has announced the introduction of additional 146.6 MVA of capacity at 24 substations. According to the branch's press service, the engineers installed power transformers in areas where technological violations were recorded due to increased load on power facilities.

"Most of the work was carried out in the service territory of the branch’s central electric networks. At the same time, the capacity was increased by 74 MVA at 12 substations that provide electricity to Makhachkala and other districts. In the settlements of Southern Dagestan, mountainous and northern regions of the republic additional capacities have been also installed" - the press release runs.

It is noted that the work carried out contributes to the reliability of power supply for the residents of Dagestan during peak load periods.
