Ashuraliyev Technical College has achieved a remarkable success by winning in a federal competition for a grant amounting to RUB 100 million. These funds will be allocated towards the implementation of a comprehensive project aimed at establishing an educational and industrial IT cluster as part of the government "Professionalism" initiative.

The initiative aims to implement an innovative approach to training professionals in information technology. Students will have an opportunity to participate in a comprehensive educational program that covers a wide range of specializations, including programming, information security and network administration. The program places a strong emphasis on establishing close collaboration with industry leaders. The leading IT companies in the region will actively contribute to the development of curriculum. This collaboration will significantly enhance the prospects for successful integration of graduates into the job market.

The technical upgrade of equipment in the educational establishment with up-to-date hardware and software solutions critical for providing high-quality educational services and training of specialists is a fundamental aspect of this project.

The inauguration of the educational and industrial hub is scheduled for the 2025–2026 academic year, which will pave the way for commencing the training of highly sought-after IT professionals for the regional market in the foreseeable future.
