Established in 2019 to safeguard its exceptional ecosystem, Samur National Park in Dagestan now features a comprehensive tourist complex. This complex includes a visitor center providing detailed information on the reserve's diverse flora and fauna, pedestrian trails offering both suspended and terrestrial experiences and an adventurous rope park. Accommodations are available in guest houses and campsites, allowing visitors to extend their stay.

The regional Ministry of Tourism has integrated nine tour routes developed by regional operators into the official Dagestan route network. These routes enable residents and visitors to explore the renowned Samur National Park and immerse themselves in the distinctive natural and cultural heritage of Southern Dagestan.

Spanning 48,000 hectares, the park comprises two distinct clusters: the coastal "Delta Samura" and the mountainous "Shalbuzdag."  The mountainous cluster boasts remarkable peaks exceeding four thousand meters, including Bazarduzu (Kichen suv) and Shalbuzdag.

Notably, the Samur Delta harbors a singular liana forest, the only one in Russia, where fifteen vine species intertwine with trees. Visitors can marvel at a five-hundred-year-old sycamore tree boasting a diameter of approximately five meters and witness enchanting glades adorned with wild orchids.
