The minister of labour and social development Malik Bagliev noted that youth unemployment was one of the most pressing problems in Daghestan. Daghestani ministry of labour and social development has established the "Uspekh" (success) youth employment center within a republican priority development project. The centre aims at helping young people exercise their state-guaranteed right to be employed. The center will use up-to-date technology and software thus attracting intelligent youth," the minister said.
Head of the centre Zaur Omarov said it is meant to implement the state employment programs and provide favorable environment for young people to integrate into the labour market, to safeguard their right to volunteer labour and unrestricted employment, and to provide economic, legal and institutional arrangements for employing the young.
"We deal with all youth groups: schoolchildren, college students, unemployed youth, workers and young villagers living in the atmosphere of science, modern technology and innovation. For each group, we offer specific employment services using innovative approaches. Schoolchildren take a career-oriented test on updated software helping identify not only their professional inclinations, but also their majors," Omarov said.
They consider launching a training center to teach young people to present themselves, make up resumes, apply ethics of business communication and other areas critical for young job seekers. They also pay great attention to the labour market, educational services and raising the prestige of blue-collar jobs in Daghestan.
