In 2024 Dagestan authorities plan to spend 679 million rubles on state support of viticulture. According to the regional government's Viticulture Committee, this is an increase from 614 million in 2023 and 519 million in 2022.
The funds are spent in several directions:

-    subsidizing the creation of new plantations
-    maintenance of vineyards
-    purchase of machinery and equipment
-    land reclamation.

It is expected that by 2035 the area of vineyards will increase from the current 27 thousand hectares to 34.7 thousand hectares.
