Dagestan's housing and utilities system is to be modernized on a large scale. Currently, 10 projects are being implemented in the region in the areas of water supply, heat supply, and sewage disposal. The funds for the implementation of these projects have been allocated from the regional and federal budgets.

In total, it is planned to spend about 33.3 billion rubles. The Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic specifies that more than RUB 14 billion will be spent on the construction of a water pipeline and pressure infrastructure to the treatment plants.

More than 12 billion rubles will be spent on the construction of sewage treatment plants in the capital. Besides, RUB 3.6 billion will be spent on modernizing the sewerage system and collectors in Makhachkala and Dagestanskie Ogny.
