It is planned to create about 20 glamping parks in tourist areas of Dagestan. This was reported by Magomed Abakarov, Director of the Caspian Strategic Initiatives Club, at the meeting of the Council of Experts under the Government of the Republic of Dagestan, headed by Prime Minister Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov.

According to Abakarov, a big problem for the organization of multi-day routes is the lack of accommodation and catering facilities in the mountainous part of Dagestan. Thus, in the high season, tourists return to the city for one night and the next day they return to the mountains.

One member of the expert panel suggested that the development of the network of glamping sites could be a solution to the issue. He pointed out several advantages over traditional accommodation options, including greater comfort and safety for guests, reduced environmental impact, lower construction and maintenance costs, and quick return on investment and high profitability.
