A new aquaculture investment project, set to establish a modern trout farm in the village of Nechaevka, was the focus of a working meeting in Kizilyurtovsky municipal district of Dagestan. The meeting included representatives of the Republican Government and the management of the "Rost Aqua" LLC.

According to the press service of the Fisheries Committee of the Republic of Dagestan, construction of the fish farming complex is already underway. The first phase will establish a modern enterprise for raising premium trout, aiming for a design capacity of 850 tons per year.

The total investment in the project is approximately RUB 1.4 billion, with full completion scheduled for 2028. As a priority sector for Dagestan, the project will significantly boost the local fisheries industry.

The initiative is expected to create over 60 new jobs and generate up to RUB 80 million in annual tax revenues. This project underscores a successful collaboration between the government, private business and the local community, opening new economic prospects for the region.
