A new tourist destination, Avaral Park, has recently opened near Sulak Canyon. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Sergei Melikov, the regional governor, and Abdulhakim Hajiyev, a member of the State Duma.

The Park is located within the scenic Salatau cave complex and covers an area of 11,000 square meters. Construction began in November 2024 and was completed in May 2025 as part of the national "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" initiative. The complex includes a hotel, restaurant serving local cuisine, coffee shop and retail outlets. The buildings are surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds with recreational areas and architectural features.

"Avaral" Restaurant is a 250-guest capacity building situated alongside the Sulak River. The interior design of the restaurant reflects traditional aesthetics, with large windows providing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valley. Guests can enjoy modern interpretations of Dagestani cuisine here.

The Avaral Hotel, also named after the restaurant, is located within the same complex and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and Sulak River. It was built using natural materials. Notably, the Avaral Park cave complex won the national competition "From the South Seas to the Polar Region" held under the Rosmolodezh program "More Than a Journey".
