Russia's first super-intensive orchard has been planted at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level in Akhtynsky municipal district of Dagestan. The orchard covers an area of 70 hectares, with another 130 planned for the future. At the same time, a fruit storage facility with a capacity of 10,000 tons is being built to ensure year-round storage of products, allowing for efficient sale of the entire harvest. This is a historic event not only for the district, whose apples are renowned throughout Dagestan, but also a clear example of the region's economic growth, the revival of large enterprises, and the creation of new jobs in rural areas.
