Ilya Gaisin, a laureate of international competitions, violin virtuoso, performed on the stage of the Kumyk State Drama and Music Theater in ensemble with pianist, People's Artist of Dagestan Diana Uvaisova, within the framework of the XVII International Music Festival "Port-Petrovskie Assemblies".

Ilya Gaisin, who has already performed several concerts in Makhachkala, is a part of the musical elite in modern Russia. His concerts, which have received international acclaim, support the high level of professionalism of the "Port-Petrovsky Assemblies" festival.

It was interesting to see the world-famous violinist conduct the concert himself, while commenting on each piece in a fascinating way. The concert featured compositions for violin by such great composers as Bach, Beethoven, Schumann, Lutosławski, Brahms, Massenet, and Sarasate.

Recall that the fourth concert of the "Port-Petrovsky Assemblies" cycle will be held on May 14 at the Kumyk Theater at 6:30 pm. The Symphony Orchestra of the Dagestan Opera and Ballet Theater, conducted by Valery Khlebnikov, a People's Artist of Russia, and Daria Khlebnikova, a pianist and winner of international competitions, will perform Brahms' Fourth Symphony and Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue".
