Dagestan and Chuvashia will work out a joint roadmap for the development of tourism in both regions, the regional Ministry of Tourism, Folk Art and Handicrafts reports. During the MITT-2025 exhibition in Moscow, Dagestani Minister of Tourism Emin Merdanov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development of Chuvashia Dmitry Krasnov discussed the development strategy.

Discussions focused on the need to establish direct air connections between the two republics, which would significantly improve travel accessibility and create new opportunities for cooperation in the field of tourism. There are also plans to organize joint information tours and media trips to promote the natural and cultural treasures of both Dagestan and Chuvashia.

MITT, an international travel and hospitality event, is held in Moscow on March 18-20, attracting over 1,000 travel industry representatives from 54 Russian regions and 36 foreign countries.
