On March 27 - 29, Minsk hosted the 27th international exhibition «Otdykh-2025», the largest event in Belarusian tourism industry. Delegations from dozens of countries, Belarusian regions, and constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including Dagestan, showcased their tourism potential at the event.
Dagestani delegation, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, prominent tour operators and guides got engaged in presentations and business meetings. They also signed agreements on exchanging tourist groups with their Belarusian counterparts.
A significant outcome of their participation was the agreement to create a unique tourist route in Dagestan specifically tailored for Belarusian visitors. This route will be facilitated by the direct Minsk-Makhachkala-Minsk flight, ensuring a comfortable and cost-effective travel experience. Belarus is actively pursuing cooperation with the regions of the Northern Caucasus, particularly in the realm of tourism. The southern resorts of Russia, both seaside and ski destinations, are gaining increasing popularity among Belarusian travelers.
The participation of Dagestan in the «Otdykh-2025» exhibition has contributed to enhancing the region’s tourism profile and fostering international collaboration, as noted by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Dagestan.
