Dagestan launches new national project 'Infrastructure for Life'

Dagestan has commenced “Infrastructure for Life” new target project. This initiative encompasses a wide range of activities, including the rehabilitation of 141 kilometers of roadways, the implementation of an advanced transportation system within Makhachkala metropolitan area, and most importantly, the installation of over one million square meters of asphalt pavement.
As part of the project, Dagestan will receive fifteen mobile devices designed for automated traffic violation detection. Additionally, the public transportation fleet will be augmented with ninety-seven new vehicles. Furthermore, extensive efforts are underway across various other projects and initiatives.
By 2025, a total of 484 kilometers of roads and 13 bridges are slated for reconstruction. The process of airport modernization will continue, encompassing the construction of a new domestic flight terminal. Municipal road networks will also receive significant financial support.
