Dagestan is set to receive a substantial sum of RUB 9.8 billion for the upgrade of the regional electricity infrastructure. The funds, as outlined by Marat Shikhaliev, the Minister of Energy and Tariffs Regulation of the Republic of Dagestan, will be used to implement a comprehensive program aimed at enhancing the reliability of both the republican and Makhachkala city electricity grid complexes. Allocated from the federal budget, these funds will facilitate the reconstruction of 105 critical power grid facilities over the course of the next 5 years, spanning until 2027, the minister outlines.
