The Russian video platform Rutube observes a notable surge in user and creator interest regarding domestic travel within Russia. Notably, the republic of Dagestan emerges as a popular destination, securing a position within the top ten most sought-after travel locations.

According to a statement from Rutube's press service, the volume of travel-related videos uploaded in 2025 experienced a 63% increase compared to the previous year.  The top ten regions generating the highest volume of travel video content are: Krasnodar Region, Crimea, Altai, Kazan, Vladivostok, Chechnya, Kaliningrad, Baikal, Dagestan and Moscow.

This type of content demonstrates particular appeal among younger demographics, with individuals aged 25-34 constituting the second largest viewership group.
