Dagestan intends to introduce a new tourist route for the visitors from Belarus, with the prospect of launching a direct flight connecting Minsk and Makhachkala. This initiative represents a collaborative effort aimed at fostering greater tourism between the two regions.

According to a statement by Dagestan Ministry of Tourism and Folk Art and Crafts, a unique and bespoke travel route is being meticulously crafted for the Belarusian travelers. The development of this route is envisioned as part of an ambitious flight program between Minsk and Makhachkala. The inception of this project was formalized during the 27th International Tourism Exhibition "Rest-2025" attended by a delegation from Dagestan.

The ministry highlights the growing popularity of southern Russian destinations among Belarusian tourists, encompassing both seaside and ski resorts.
