Dagestan recognized as cheapest region for recreation in Russia
It is noted that the average expenditure of domestic tourists is 1.5-2 thousand rubles per day. The most expensive regions in terms of spending are Magadan region, Kamchatka, St. Petersburg and Kaliningrad. The average tourist spends 2.4 thousand per day in these regions.
Apart from Dagestan, the cheap indices are registered in Yamalo-Nenets districts and Ingushetia. Experts say, the average tourist spends make approx. 1 thousand rubles a day.
Earlier it was reported that Moscow region will receive a federal subsidy for the development of tourism. It was among the regions - leaders in receiving a single subsidy under the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry". Now the region can use the received funds to equip beaches, create campgrounds, as well as to form new regional routes.
