Dagestani becomes expert at prestigious All-Russian mentor competition

The All-Russian Patriotic Mentor Competition "To Be, not to Seem" endorsed by the Russian President Vladimir Putin, is currently underway in Rostov-on-Don. Sefizhat Magomedrasulova, a Dagestan native, is the sole expert from the Republic selected for this prestigious competition.

The aim of "To Be, not to Seem" is to recognize and champion exemplary mentoring practices throughout Russia. This year, an impressive 70,000 individuals submitted applications, encompassing a diverse range of participants including students, social activists, athletes, volunteers, educators, veterans and those involved in the ongoing special military operation.

The competition features five primary categories: "Novice Mentor", "Experienced Mentor", "Mentor Leader", "Your Mentor" and "Mentor in Service". The latter dedicated to the Year of the Defender of Fatherland, as proclaimed by President Putin. Additionally, a non-competitive category titled "Honored Mentor" acknowledges instructors, educators and methodologists with extensive experience (minimum 20 years) in patriotic youth education or outstanding mentoring achievements.

"Being among the nation's foremost experts and participating in this significant competition alongside our esteemed heroes from the special military operation is a profound honor" -Sefizhat Magomedrasulova stated, expressing her pride. She further emphasized the importance of contributing to the patriotic upbringing of younger generations.

As part of the competitive events, commemorative ceremonies honoring the Day of Remembrance and Mourning were conducted on June 21st-22nd at the Sambek Heights Military Historical Museum complex.
