Dagestan State Technical University is hosting the annual "Ethnova-2025" Ethnic Culture Festival, which has this year achieved district-level status after winning the All-Russian Youth Projects Competition. The event has united creative groups from 17 universities across the North Caucasian Federal District.

The festival program is structured around three main stages: presentations of national cultural compounds showcasing traditional lifestyles and crafts, followed by competitions in national dance and song.

The grand opening has been attended by representatives of the republican ministries. DSTU Rector Nazim Balamirzoev underscored the festival's role in preserving the region's rich cultural diversity. Government representatives further highlighted the critical role of students in sustaining cultural heritage and advancing intercultural dialogue.

Organizers position the festival as a vital platform for strengthening interethnic friendship and fostering respect for the historical and cultural values of the North Caucasus. To deepen the experience, participants from other regions are being offered tours of Dagestan's landmark sites, providing an immersive introduction to the republic's culture and natural beauty.
