Abdulkerim Aygunov, a world champion in hand-to-hand combat and the director of the 49th Makhachkala school, Magomed Magomedov, a judo world champion and captain of the Federal Penitentiary Service and Magomed Dzhabrailov, a two-time mixed martial arts world champion and major of the Federal Customs Service, are among those who joined in humanitarian mission.
I have now travelled to Donbass region for the eighth time, bringing humanitarian aid organized with the support of the 49th Makhachkala School. Our last shipment was addressed to servicemen from Dagestan battalion "Caspiy" and included basic necessities, hygiene products and food items. I took this opportunity to convey my congratulations to the battalion commander Jamal Ilyasov and all personnel on the occasion of the Victory Day, as well as to hand over letters from schoolchildren to our soldiers, which were especially heartfelt.
Today, our brave sons are upholding the interests of our homeland in the special military operation (SMO) zone. Each of them is a shining example of valor and we must do everything in our power to support them. We express our gratitude to all those who contribute to such initiatives. These efforts bring us closer to ultimate victory.
Commander of the Caspiy Battalion Jamal Ilyasov extended his gratitude to Abdulkerim Aygunov for his support, bestowing upon him the medal "For Contribution to the Front".
