The VI Mountain Tea Festival will be held on August 16th at the Vatan memorial complex near Sogratl village in Gunibski municipal district. This is a vibrant celebration of the summer tourist season.  This annual event draws together tea aficionados, industry professionals and artisans specializing in this beloved beverage, attracting attendees from across the republic and beyond.

The festival program offers a diverse array of activities, including tea-drinking competitions, children's art exhibitions, aerial acrobatics performances, illusions by a magician, and a concert by a children's dance ensemble.  Winners of these contests will be awarded valuable prizes and monetary rewards.

Families are encouraged to attend and experience the distinctive flavors, traditions and warmth of Dagestani hospitality. The event is supported by the regional Ministry of Tourism and Folk Arts. In conjunction with the National Museum named after A. Takho-Godi, a special exhibition showcasing the cultural heritage of the Republic of Dagestan will be presented.
