The cultural and educational project "My Dagestan" launched in Dagestan gathered more than 50 compatriots from 18 countries of the world. The plenary meeting of the event took place under the chairmanship of Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, the prime minister of Dagestan.

The program of the event is scheduled for three days (October 22-25). It will feature attendees from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, and other countries.

Following the first day of the event, the participants acknowledged the uniqueness of Dagestan as a diverse and multi-religious region of Russia. The republic boasts a rich history of fostering respectful dialogue among the representatives of various traditions and religious backgrounds. It also holds significant potential for engagement on the international stage in support of universally recognized values and traditional family institution.
