The All-Russian Taekwondo Championship for the prizes of the “Champion” Sports Club has begun in Kaspiysk. Over 400 athletes from 23 regions of the North Caucasus Federal District, as well as Sevastopol, the Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Territory and Stavropol Territory, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tatarstan, Karelia, Volgograd, Tyumen, Astrakhan, Penza, Chelyabinsk, Ivanovo and Rostov regions participate in the competition.

The tournament encompasses a wide range of competitions, including men's and women's events in 16 weight categories, as well as separate competitions for boys, girls, juniors, and seniors in 40 different weights. Furthermore, the event will feature demonstrations of phumsee, a traditional Korean martial art and professional taekwondo matches.
