Dagestan-born archer Magomedarif Mirzaev has won a gold medal at the World Cup for Traditional Archery held in Ulsan, South Korea. The archer achieved the top result in the men's individual competition among more than 400 participants in the "Korean Target, 145 m" discipline, which had previously been traditionally dominated by Korean archers. Noteworthy, in the overall team standings, the Russian national team, led by Dagestan specialist Djamal Makhtibekov, placed third among 82 teams.
